I particularly appreciate this Edgar Degas quote: “A painting requires a little mystery, some vagueness, and some fantasy. When you always make your meaning perfectly plain, you end up boring people.” I agree, yet additionally, I’m always so happy when something about my work touches a person, that I’m more than willing to share my inspirations and visions.
